How did the idea originate?
In my head without warning, as most do. It actually began as a ghost story and then turned into a romance!
Did the book entail any unusual writing habits or places?
No. I write in the same place at the same time every day - in a cluttered office full of books, stacks of paper, coffee cups and snoring dogs. I am a creature of habit.
