What is your book about? Please provide a description.
Readers describe my book as: "A laugh-out-loud funny but it is also jammed packed with so much sales know-how that I have to read it with a highlighter in hand."
The funny stories referred to are the true corporate tell-all tales that took place in the male-dominated corporate sales offices and the hard lessons learned along the way. Today you would call it harrassment, but I stood my ground to learn all I could so that one day I might be out on my own.
How long have you been at work on this book?
The book took three months to write.
How did the idea originate?
Upon announcing I was a sales trainer, the men laughed and the women ran for the exit doors. Marketing materials said to write a book to establish credibility. Announcing Chapter 1 was written, turned around the minds of many.
I began with a review of my career and wrote the stories as I moved from sales office to sales office writing as if i were sharing a cup of coffee with you and relaying the incredible stories.
Did the book entail any unusual writing habits or places?
No.
