About the Author

Blanche M. Kapushion Ph.D.

Dr. George Betts is president of the National Association for Gifted Children and Professor Emeritus at the University of Northern Colorado. Dr. Robin Carey has been in education for more than 30 years with an emphasis in the areas of music education, gifted programming, and English language development. Dr. Blanche Kapushion is the director of gifted and talented programming in Jefferson County Schools as well as past president of the Colorado Association of Gifted and Talented. All three authors are heavily involved with social-emotional development and programming implementation to support the diversified needs of gifted learners.
